Pressure Treated Wood
Alkaline Copper Quaternary and Chromated Copper Arsenate are water based preservative that are applied to woods should as Hemlock, Spruce, Pine and Fir using a vacuum and pressure cycle. This helps to deter bugs and prevent decay in the woods. This makes the wood much more durable and a good choice for decks when budgets are tight.
