DECK MATERIALS

Composite Decking

The low maintenance winner!

In our rainy west coast climate composite deck boards require the least amount of care and maintenance after installation. That’s why we have install hundreds of composite decks in the Lower Mainland. The reason is simple. Composite decks are generally made from a mixture of hardwood fibres and are up to 95% recycled plastics. This makes the prefabricated boards non-porous and their formula contains mould-inhibitors that prevent algae growth. Washing your deck with a light bleach solution, or deck cleaner is sufficient to remove any green staining that has built up over the winter. Red wine, grease and other household spills will not damage the finish of the deck, or leave a permanent stain. So, your deck always looks great with composite decking.   Composite decks come in a wide range of colours and some distinct brands.

DECKING MATERIALS WE LOVE TO WORK WITH!

Dream Decks builds decks in composite products, vinyl, pressure treated wood, natural cedar and hardwoods. Each product has strengths and weaknesses, and our free 1-hour consultation will help you select the product that is the right fit for your requirements. For decks over living space, or to create a dry storage area below your deck, we recommend one of two waterproof decking systems. The first is a vinyl and the second a composite Trex product called Rain Escapes.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY ABOUT US

Building the deck of our dreams meant that we actually slow down. We had no outdoor living space before. So our new deck gives us a place to go outside to have a glass of wine, relax and enjoy the view. We actually spent more quality time together
